In episode 25, United States Marine Corps veteran Eric Rine talks about his journey from 20 plus years in the Marine Corps to leading the Veteran Beer Company as President. Eric is a graduate of Purdue University and started his USMC career as aviation supply officer before transitioning to fighter aviation as an F/A-18D WSO. He is also a graduate of the Navy Fighter Weapons School (Top Gun), and has served as a Test Pilot.
Eric’s interest in brewing beer started in the Marine Corps with home brewing. Eric has since taken professional brewing courses at the Siebel Institute of Technology; America’s oldest brewing school, and the University of California at Davis School of Brewing Science. Eric talks about the importance of building a network and how his network led to him linking up with the right people to start Veteran Beer Company.

Eric’s advice for a veteran wanting to start a business: Get your finances in order. Think before you buy a new car or house and how it will impact you starting a business. Be prepared for when the moment comes.
