Evan Hafer is the CEO and Co-Founder of TwistRate. TwistRate’s mission is to empower America’s veteran, service members, law enforcement, outdoor enthusiast, and shooting communities to create, launch, market and distribute their inventions.
UPDATE: Evan is now Founder and CEO of Black Rifle Coffee Company
Evan grew up in Northern Idaho. While in college, he enlisted in the Army National Guard and attended Special Forces Assessment and Selection between his junior and senior years. He left school to attend the Special Forces Qualification. Since becoming a Green Beret, Evan has spent years serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Evan Co-Founded TwistRate with another Special Forces Soldier. Their goal was to help the Veteran Community (and others) fund their ideas and inventions. He had this advice for Veterans who want to start a business:
If you have an idea, the worst thing you can do is just hold on to that idea and never action on it…You have to become a person of action and intent. You have to start. If you don’t start, it doesn’t exist.”
