Rosemary O’Brien is an author, a freelancer, and the founder of Pocket Parks Publishing. Her most recent book, Best Pocket Parks of NYC focuses on the best privately owned public spaces in New York City.
Rosemary grew up in Connecticut, and lived all over the country as a Navy Spouse. She began freelancing and doing corporate writing after becoming dissatisfied with the jobs available for military spouses.
Rosemary has attended the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans’ Families (EBV-F), Veteran Women Igniting The Spirit Of Entrepreneurship (V-WISE), and TechStars Patriot Boot Camp (CYB 52 is an interview with the founder). She highly recommends each program, and gives great insight into each in the interview.
