Background
Adam Rivette is the Co-Founder of Barrel Backers, an online platform to discover great craft beers and get them delivered to your door. Adam grew up the son of an Army Officer. He attended West Point, and was commissioned as an Infantry Officer. He served for nine months in the same battalion as his brother. Adam deployed to Iraq in 2006. He finished his career at the Ranger Training Brigade. After leaving the Army in 2009, Adam attended grad school in Europe.
Entrepreneurship
Adam learned about entrepreneurship while working at a startup in New York City (GOJEE which was acquired) and later at another startup in San Francisco. He and his brother came up with the idea for Barrel Backers while talking to a friend who started Service Brewing in Savannah, GA (Founded by another Veteran Entrepreneur).
