Background
Justin Sloan is the author of Military Veterans in Creative Careers: Interviews with our Nations Heroes. He grew up in Washington and enlisted in the Marine Corp after high school. He served in Signals Intelligence and as a Martial Arts Instructor for 5 years.
Transition
After the leaving the Marines, he received Bachelors and Masters Degrees. Justin rediscovered his love of writing while working for the Commerce Department in Washington DC. Initially, his intent was to have a government career, and write on the side. Justin soon realized he needed to become a full time writer. He started by taking an internship at a literary management company. This led him to his current role as a writer at Telltale Games.
