Episode 15: Kristina Guerrero, Veteran Entrepreneur, Former Air Force Officer, Founder TurboPup

Overview

Kristina Guerrero attended the United States Air Force Academy, and upon graduation was commissioned as an Officer in the Air Force. Kristina served for over 12 years on active duty and in the U.S. Air Force Reserves as a C-130 pilot where she served in Operations Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and on the Horn of Africa.

She is currently CEO and Founder of TurboPup which manufactures high quality innovative complete meal bars for dogs that enhance the outdoor experience for pets and their owners.

Kristina talked about the multitude of organizations that want to see veterans succeed. Two organizations that she mentioned that focus on veteran women are V-WISE (Veteran Women Igniting The Spirit Of Entrepreneurship) and Count Me In (Women Veteran Entrepreneur Corps,WEVAC). Kristina was on a guest on Shark Tank.  Her episode featuring TurboPup aired on 1/16/2015. She received a $100k investment from Daymond John for 40% equity.
