Larry Broughton is an Army Special Forces Veteran, an Author, A Keynote Speaker and , an award winning CEO and Entrepreneur. He is the Founder and CEO of Broughton Hotels, Broughton Advisory Group and YooGozi.com. Larry grew up in New York State. His interest in Martial Arts as a teen led him to join the Army ( where his hopes of joining the Army Tai Kwon Do team for the Olympics were dashed ). He did not make it onto the Olympic Team, but he spent over 8 1/2 years with Army Special Forces Teams. Larry left the Army and went to get his College Degree.
Entrepreneurship
Larry’s journey into entrepreneurship started while he worked in college as a hotel night auditor. An investment group bought the hotel, and allowed Larry to step into a management role. He eventually became a partner in the business. In 2001, he decided he wanted to start his own business. He faced real challenges and nearly lost his business with the dot com collapse and subsequent impact of 9/11 on the hotel industry. Larry led his business through the downturn by seeking help from others. He now runs multiple successful businesses.
